Paintings by Lise Carruthers

I must tell you my first look at Lise Carruthers’ paintings was the biggest “wow” in my artist’s life!

Some areas of Lise’s paintings are covered with pieces of fabric (I guess) which make these still lives so unusual. I’m a big textile lover and collect scraps of fabrics since many years – so this technique seemed just ideal for me as a beginner painter :) I’ll share result of this inspiration in another post, stay tuned!
