Paper sculptures of cities by Matthew Picton

One of my classmates at Map Design class, Michele, sent us link to these beautiful work by Matthew Picton. He created maps/sculptures of several cities using unique material for each city. Many of them were partially burnt to show historical fire or bomb damages during the war, like in London 1940 work:
